Ma'a
Fusion
Ma'a Fusion™ contains some of the most powerful
botanicals known to man:
Noni Fruit – a super fruit that has been used by Polynesians for more than 2000
years for it’s healthful properties. Modern science confirms that Noni is rich in
antioxidants, phytonutrients and bioflavonoids, which explains why it helps maintain a
healthy immune system, proper joint mobility, normal blood sugar and cholesterol
levels, and healthy lung function.
Aloe Vera – a rich source of simple sugars and amino acids. Glyconutrients, as
polysaccharides, found in Aloe Vera work to support many functions in the body by
enhancing and conditioning molecules responsible for communication and
signaling at the cellular level. Aloe Vera has natural, detoxifying abilities and may improve bowel
regularity and increase protein absorption, while at the same time decrease unfriendly
bacteria and yeast.
Pomegranate – another super fruit that is packed with polyphenol antioxidants that
guard the body’s endothelial cells that line blood vessels against free-radical assault.
Pomegranate may assist with cardiovascular problems caused by plaque buildup by
reducing the oxidation of bad LDL cholesterol. Pomegranate fruit has shown promise
in slowing down cartilage deterioration in osteoarthritis and may be a useful nutritive
supplement for maintaining joint function.
Cranberry – among the richest in flavonoids and polyphenol antioxidants, known to
provide health benefits to the cardiovascular and immune systems. Cranberries
contain a high concentration of proanthocyanidins (PACs), which can prevent the
adhesion of certain of bacteria associated with urinary tract infections.
Pineapple – contains a proteolytic enzyme bromelain, which digests food by breaking
down protein. There is also significant evidence pointing to the anti-inflammatory
benefits of bromelain. Pineapple is a good source of manganese, as well as
containing significant amounts of Vitamin C and Vitamin B1.
Pear – provides protection from free radicals that cause oxygen-related damage. The
antioxidants found in pears support immune function by stimulating white blood cells
to fight infection. Pears also promote cardiovascular and colon health due to the high
fiber content.
Tart Cherry – contains a source of plant compounds called phenolics that have antiinflammatory
and antioxidant effects. It also contains high levels of the antioxidant
melatonin, which helps improve the body’s circadian rhythms and natural sleep
patterns.
Grape – a natural sweetener that is easier to digest because it does not contain
sorbitol, a hard-to-digest sugar-like compound found in many fruit juices. White grape
also has an even balance of fructose and glucose (two easy-to-digest natural sugars).
Inulin – a prebiotic, Inulin stimulates the growth of friendly and healthy intestinal
bacteria which supports digestion and good colon health. The positive effects of
natural prebiotic fibers from Inulin protects against bad bacteria, helps with the
absorption of calcium and vitamins, and decrease the risk to chronic diseases.
Elderberry – once referred to as “nature’s medicine chest”, Elderberry has been used
in Europe for hundreds of years to relieve pain, inflammation, and congestion.
Analysis shows concentrated sources of anthocyanins, which support a significant
free radical scavenging capacity.
Acerola Cherry – the richest source of vitamin C of any fruit. Acerola is also an
excellent source of vitamin A (as carotene). In addition to numerous antioxidants, it
contains B vitamins in the form of thiamin, riboflavin and niacin. It is also a good
source of iron, calcium, phosphorous and potassium.
Green Tea Extract – Chinese have known about the medicinal benefits of green tea
for more than 4000 years. Recent scientific research shows the secret to the power
behind green tea lies in the fact that it is rich in catechin polyphenols, particularly the
powerful antioxidant called epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). EGCG is shown to be
beneficial for cardiovascular problems, infections and impaired immune functions, as
well as joint and mobility related conditions.
Bilberry – a berry fruit containing anthocyanidin flavonoids, strong antioxidants
properties that benefit the cardiovascular system. It can improve night vision and has
been shown to reduce the effects of degenerative eye disorders due to the
anthocyanosides that protect the retina.
Brindle Berry – fills the glycogen stores in the liver and other tissues, thereby
reducing appetite while increasing energy levels. Brindle berry (also known as
garcinia cambogia) lowers the production of triglycerides and cholesterol and may
also increase thermogenesis, the burning of calories.
